About the ETown Wildkits Feeder Basketball

E-TOWN WILDKITS FEEDER BASKETBALL

Mission
ETOWN Willdkits Feeder is a community based, youth basketball organization that instills the Evanston Wildkit culture prior to attending High School here in Evanston. Players will develop a direct influence from their local High School Coaches including alignment of techniques, terminology, plays and skill sets that they can expect to see at the high school level. Opportunities are available through camps and clinics providing direct interaction and name recognition between these players and the high school coaches. This alignment is becoming a commonplace among feeder teams in the North Shore area.

GRADES 3 - 8 BASKETBALL SEASON
We allow 1st and 2nd graders to participate if they can get the ball up to the basket and dribble with either hand. The Practice Season will start after tryouts/evaluation. Game Season will begin in December. Directors/Coaches will contact the players with all pertinent information and schedules after the Coaches Orientation.

Practices are held during the week (Tuesday & Thursdays), with games on Saturday & Sundays. All home games are played at ETHS. Away games will be played against all of the Northshore Suburban feeder programs. Each team will have rosters of up to 10-12 players. Evanston Feeder will provide team uniforms, equipment, and supervised gymnasiums.

A parent meeting will be held a few days after tryouts to discuss season expectations.
